In the country of Eiten, where crime and poverty run rampant, boxer Evanthe Plechette stumbles upon the rare opportunity to become the Eiten queen’s doppleganger. But life as a double is far from what she imagined. Bound to mimic every injury the draconian queen suffers and kill at her unpredictable whims, Evanthe is drawn into a deadly game to destroy the rebels known as the Damned.
